Marine Life 101 - for Divers Who Want to Know More Than Just Their Air Pressure

From Dive Tables to Fish Tales: Why I Started Angry Octopus Diving
After over 3 decades of diving and half of those teaching, I started to notice something: most students could calculate their surface intervals like pros but had no clue why that tiny fish was wiggling at a shrimp (they’re roommates, by the way). Most dive courses (like those from PADI and NAUI) teach solid safety skills, but not enough about what’s swimming around you, the interesting, wild marine life that makes diving magical. So I created Angry Octopus Diving – part marine biology, part scuba storytelling, and 100% more fun than your average dive manual. It’s for curious divers who want to understand the ocean, not just float through it.
