Guided Dives
Sometimes you just want to go diving but don’t know the area very well. You’ve come to the right place!
We are local divers with hundreds of dives in the 1000 Islands, the Great Lakes and other lakes and rivers in Ontario, Canada. We can take you on exploratory dives, bottle scrounging or even known shipwrecks all within recreational limits.
Let us know what you want to see and we can take you there.
Learn to Dive
Let us teach you how to dive in our heated pool and classroom. Chose to do eLearning if the thought of spending a couple half days in a classroom makes you cringe. Our instructors will teach you at a pace that is comfortable and fun.
Chose to complete your open water portion with us or somewhere warmer and more colorful, the choice is yours!
We also have onsite accommodations for your convenience and pleasure in Gananoque, Ontario and Alexandria Bay, New York. Come check us out!
Continue Learning
We have a variety of different specialty certifications that we offer here at Angry Octopus. We offer everything from Advanced Open Water diver up to Assistant Instructor and most things in between. Click on the link to see what we have!
Air Fills
We have access to a compressor at our New York location that can do fills up to 4500 psi.
We have a tank visual inspection technician on site if your tank needs to be inspected while you wait.

Why Angry Octopus Diving
Jill and Lisa have been diving continuously for years in the Great Lakes, St Lawrence River and many other lakes and rivers around Ontario. They are sought out by many of the dive shops in Ontario for their dive expertise in the Thousand Island region.
We decided to create an atmosphere where the student would not be rushed into learning and could do the courses at their own pace. The pressures of mass producing was frustrating for the students as well as for us.
We now have a facility with our own classroom and seasonal outdoor pool so we can take our time with our students to give them the best experience that we possibly can!
